Age 81, of Gallatin, passed away after a courageous battle on September 21, 2016.
Heidi, as she was known by, was a loving, caring and selfless, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was the life of the party. It was said she had never met a stranger in her lifetime. Although she loved life, some of her favorite things to do were, collecting anything with Coca-Cola on it and antiques, summer camping and going to the lake in Michigan, spoiling her grandchildren, and most of all just being a mom and spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by parents, Hazel Katherine Hartman Snowball & James Robert Snowball; brother, Robert Douglas Snowball. Survived by loving husband of 60 years, Max Witzigreuter; adoring children, Tim Witzigreuter (Cindy) & Lisa Maples (David); grandchildren, Megan Witzigreuter, Jeffrey Maples (Tiffany), Stacie Leggo (Cameron) & Max Witzigreuter; 2 great-grandchildren, Owen Leggo & Adley Leggo; several extended family and friends.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Thomas Rutherford Foundation (1700 Medical Center Pkwy, Murfreesboro, TN, 37129) in honor of her.
A Life Celebration will be held 11:00am Saturday, September 24, 2016 with burial to follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be David Maples, Jeffrey Maples, Max Witzigreuter, Cameron Leggo, Todd Behnfeldt and Jon Suddarth. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Victor Gian, M.D., Doug Snowball, Kevin Snowball & Keith Ridenour.
