Age 92, of Gallatin, passed away November 14, 2015.
She was the second of five children born to Thomas and Ada Bradbury of Britton, OK, on June 17, 1923. At the age of twelve, she had to assist in motherly duties due to the early death of her mother. After several years of college and various secretarial jobs, she entered New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where she met her future husband of 62 years, J. C. Lewis. The home of J. C. and Ann grew to include the cacophony of five children and numerous ‘adoptees', all of whom were nurtured and nourished by the tireless artistry of a loving mother, who balanced all the many duties of her life with grace, using the augmenting love of Christ and her gifts of music, cooking, and attention to detail, to creatively make the mundane meaningful.
Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, J. C. Lewis. Survived by her loving children, J. Courtney Lewis, Jr. (Dianne), Tim Lewis (Melissa), Daniel Thomas Lewis, Ramay Lewis (Connie) & June Ann Cortes (Luis) & Peter Jew; grandchildren, J. Courtney, III, Chris Lewis (Jessie), Jonathan Lewis, Geoffrey Lewis, Christopher Hollis (Trish), Timmy Lewis, Julianna Lewis, Kyra Altes (Kyle), Simon Lewis, Daniel Cortes, Sean Cortes, Desiree Cortes, Angela Cortes; great-grandchildren, Skye Lewis, Leah Lewis, Talynn Ryman, Houston Hollis & Charlize Trice Lewis.
