PENNINGTON, Alton Verhaden "Al" – Age 70, of Fairview, TN. June 9, 2011. Al was born in Warren County, TN to Claude Black Pennington and Mattie Belle Alley Pennington who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by brothers, Clifton Pennington Hilda, Clyde, Frank, Ray Norma and Leve. Survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Carol Ann Lamy Pennington; brother, Howard Pennington Carolyn; sisters-in-law, Kathleen, Josephine, Frances and JoAnna; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and numerous friends. A Life Celebration service will be held 10am Saturday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Bro. Ken Kerns officiating. Burial to follow at Gardens of Memory in McMinnville, TN.
